FISH of McHenry (For Immediate Sympathetic Help) was chartered and organized in 1973. It is an all-volunteer service organization that strives to meet the supplemental emergency needs of the disadvantaged in our community. It helps while people are waiting for public aid, food stamps, disability or unemployment compensation to begin. It operates solely on donations of money and goods.
