Goddess Gone Wild! - A Mardi Gras Celebration
You’ll get your mojo workin’ and experience Bourbon Street via a carnival style of wearing masks and beads. Mardi Gras is celebrated in 'Nawlins in the French quarter using the colors purple, green, and gold which will be seen in the festive tableware. Zydeco music from the Cajun swamps will play while you cook a southern Louisiana dinner. You’ll dine on combinations of sweet and spicy recipes that will make you say - Laissez le bons temps rouler! which means let the good times roll!


Music You'll Hear:
Zydeco music is a form of American folk music created by multiracial French speaking Creoles of south Louisiana. It usually has a fast-tempo and is dominated by the accordion and a form of washboard. It integrates waltzes, two steps, blues and rock and roll.

I'm a Big Ham! Wrapped Breadsticks with Cajun Dipping Sauce: Exactly what it sounds like chickie mamas. Breadsticks, herbed cream cheese and a piece of ham wrapped around it.

Winning Nawlins Chicken and Andouille Sausage Jambalaya (I won 2nd place in a contest with this one!) This meaty rice dish starts out with the holy trinity of green pepper, celery, and onions. We add chicken, andouille sausage and lots of yummy spice and hot sauce. AYE YE YI - good stuff!

Bourbon Street Beans with Hot Roasted Pecans Stir-fried beans with hot sauce and oven-roasted pecans.

Sweet Potater Puree Sweet potatoes cooked up and combined with honey.

Bananas Foster Bread Pudding with Jezebel Sauce Croissants are used to make this delicious down home dessert with creamy Southern Comfort sauce.
