Gather your harem and experience the mysterious deserts of North Africa. Jingly coin hip scarves will be tied around your hips (yes my Goddesses, over your street clothing). Your alluring tableware will feature Arabic-style lanterns and rustic stoneware. We’ll listen to the captivating sounds of the Middle East and I just dare you not to shake your hips! You’ll cook a delectable Moroccan dinner that will make your sheik propose!  



Music You'll Hear:
Middle Eastern Music is very old and was created in the Middle East and North Africa. It’s strongly melodic and rhythmic. It incorporates stringed instruments, drums, flutes, and cymbals. There is a wide variety of styles from earthy desert tribal to very synthesized cabaret music.

Pita Bread and Babaganoush: Mashed grilled eggplants with tahini (ground sesame paste)
and spices. I love saying babaganoush. It's so much fun.

Almond Stuffed Dates Baked in Bread Almonds, hot sauce, cream cheese and sweet dates are baked up in bread. It's a mouth-watering appetizer!

Chicken Bastilla Pronounced "bastiyya", this dish is traditional in Morocco and is usually made with pigeon! Ours will combine chicken, onions, spices, almonds, eggs, phyllo dough, and powdered sugar.

Moroccan Lentil Salad Garbanzo beans, lentils, green peppers, and onions in a savory sauce.

Fruity Couscous Couscous is a Moroccan's staple dish like our mashed potato's. Our recipe will incorporate dried fruits and vegetables, with almonds of course!

Almond Cookie Cups with Ice Cream A simple recipe made with almonds, sugar, and eggs that we'll bake and form into a cup. Then we'll add some ice cream and shazam, you'll dance for joy!
